Boyd Ellwood Jackson Sr., 82, Altoona, formerly of Florida, died Thursday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
He was born in Bellwood, son of Boyd and Mary Elizabeth (Graham) Jackson.
Surviving are three sons: Boyd E. Jr. and wife, Lori, Jeff and wife, Liz, and Dennis and wife, Judy; three daughters: Robin Taylor and husband, Jay, Lisa Hendrickson and husband, Robert, and Jenny Lynn Stackhouse and husband, Robert; 13 grandchildren, including a special caring granddaughter, Erin (Jackson) Lowery; 14 great-grandchildren; five sisters: Louise Greene, Joyce Hinkle (Paul), Donna Wiser, Jeanne Crawford (Barry) and Judy Perry (Lynn); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Dawson; and three sisters: Lorraine Briggs, Genevieve Parks and Charlotte Garland.
Boyd attended Bellwood High School and retired in 1985 from Pepperidge Farm of Downingtown. He was a member of the Altoona South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Altoona.
