Patrick P. Kenney Jr., 69, Altoona, died Wednesday at Valley View Home.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Patrick Sr. and Theresa (Vaughn) Kenney. He married Patricia Kohler on Nov. 29, 1980.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Patrick of Huntingdon; three daughters: Tracey Lawruk (Walter) of York, Alicia Leo (Jonathan) of Altoona and Amanda Kenney of Altoona; four grandchildren: Corrine, David, Patrick and Haley; two brothers: John in Florida and Daniel of Altoona; and three sisters: Peg Fetzer in North Carolina, Eileen McConnell of Altoona and Kathy Kenney of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Walter.
Patrick was a graduate of Altoona High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Nason Hospital as director of engineering services and safety after 27 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Patrick was a board member of the Pennsylvania Society for Health Facility Engineering and served on the South Central Mountain Regional Task Force. He enjoyed computers and genealogy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church by Monsignor Michael Becker. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
