Top junior college QB picks K-State over Nittany Lions

Jake Waters, the first-team junior college All-American quarterback from national champion Iowa Western announced he would attend Kansas State at a press conference at his school on Thursday morning.

Waters' other finalist was Penn State. The Nittany Lions only have one other scholarship quarterback on their roster, true freshman Steve Bench.

Penn State still is expected to bring in a junior college quarterback who will enroll in January and be ready to take part in spring practice. California JUCO signal-caller Tyler Ferguson reportedly was set to take a visit to University Park this weekend if Waters decided to go elsewhere.
