Roberta "Berte" Nagle, 89, Cresson, died Tuesday. She was born in Ashville, daughter of Ross and Mary (Connelly) Burgoon. Surviving are her husband, John "Red"; three children: Jack of Gallitzin, Dennis of Cresson and Nancy Handte of Harmony; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four siblings: Eletha and Dorothy Lewis, Ross and James. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, the Rev. Leo Arnone as celebrant.
