BELLEFONTE - Brandon Gripp scored 17 points and dished out 12 assists to help Tyrone open its season with a 63-37 win over Bellefonte Tuesday night in high school boys basketball action.

The Golden Eagles, up 32-16 at the break, got 15 points and 11 boards from Erik Wagner and 11 more points from Wyatt Fowler.
