Marjorie R. Laird, 87, Altoona, died Monday at her home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Bertha (Fleck) Fochler. She married John Milton Laird on Jan. 29, 1947, in Altoona, and he preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1986.
Surviving are four children, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.
Marjorie was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
