Vera M. Koontz, 95, Everett, died Monday. She was born in Hopewell, daughter of Benjamin and Glennie Hall. She married the late Benjamin C. Koontz. Surviving are three children: Diane Swope and Ronald, both of Everett, and William of Hopewell; seven grandchildren; and three siblings: Leroy Hall, Ethel Ford and Marie Mellott. She was preceded in death by two sons: Robert and Glenn; and three brothers: Henry, Emanuel and Richard Hall. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett.
