Betty M. Friday, 94, formerly of Tyrone, died Tuesday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Roscoe Bert and Blanche (Norman) Gardner. She married Harry "Peck" Friday on Feb. 8, 1941, in Winchester, Va., and he died Nov. 24, 1980. Surviving are a son, W. Kent of Tyrone; a grandson; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. Friends will be received from 3 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, the Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating. Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
