GREENSBURG - The Altoona JV and junior high ice hockey teams took care of Greensburg Salem at the Kirk Nevin Arena, with the JVs winnining 9-6 while the junior high Lions triumphed, 6-3.
In the JV win, Altoona got four goals from Matt Dalto and two goals each from Cameron Sheets and Shane Burgmeier. Garrett Madigan added a solo goal. Catcher Cumming stopped 22 of 28 shots on goal for the winners.
In the junior high victory, Tyler Lamont scored three goals for Altoona, which got solo efforts from Cole Yeckley, who also totaled three assists, along with Kenzington MacDonald and Sheets.
Goalie Remington Cumming stopped 18 of 21 shots.
