I'd like to know how Timothy K. Toroian (letter, "Obama will ruin US," Nov. 27) became such an expert on the U.S. or world economy. Even the most educated and/or experienced economists are never sure where an economic theory will eventually lead.
A pivotal word is "theory," and economics is very low in the arena of scientific fields. Educated guesses are about as far as they can go. My guess is he learned his biased and ignorant views from the pseudo-news shows on Fox TV.
It's hard to withhold judgment when he calls over half of the nation's voters morons, so I have to take his word for it that I'm a moron.
I wonder what his IQ is?
