Norman Joseph Nagle, 77, Greenwood, formerly of Ephrata, died Wednesday evening at Altoona Regional.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Joseph F. and Viola E. (Smith) Nagle. He was previously married to Emma Brewer and then married S. Jean (Aurandt) Miller on Feb. 14, 1991, in Denver, Pa.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; three daughters: Donna C. Granger and N. Darleen Lefever, both of Ephrata, and Wanda A. Piersol of Honeybrook; a son: Joseph C. Nagle of Libby, Mont.; stepchildren: Ronald P. Miller, Gregory S. Miller, Kathi L. Krater, Cindy J. Hoover, and their spouses, all of Altoona, and James L. Miller of Highspire; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Ann Nagle of Lancaster, formerly of Altoona.
Norman attended Altoona Area High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. He retired in 1992 as a water plant operator at D.A.M. Corp. in Norristown. He had owned and operated Norm's Mobile Home Service, Ephrata.
Norman's hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed woodworking.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
