Chester L. Keith, 88, Westover, died Tuesday at home.
He was born in Blain City, son of the late Blair and Mable (Bott) Keith. He married Mary Dewitt, and she died Sept 23, 2003.
Surviving are four sisters: Doris Nickerson in Alabama, Mardella Levy and Evelyn Martinez, both in California, and Margaret Kline in Virginia; a stepson, Wayne Mayberry in Illinois; five stepdaughters: Mary Jean Moore, Linda Woods, Glenda Mayberry and Dianne Hines, all in Illinois, and Geraldine Miles in Mississippi; 13 stepgrandchildren; and 20 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Ron; and two infant siblings.
Chester was a U.S. Army veteran and was self-employed as a woodsman and sawmill owner.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 8, 2012, at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona, the Rev. Roger Moore officiating. Interment will be at Beaver Valley Cemetery.
