An East Freedom man accused of setting a fire last month that killed an Altoona boy will stand trial in Blair County Court.
Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey P. Auker ruled there was enough evidence to send the case against Aaron Wilson Dishong, 62, to the higher court.
Dishong allegedly tried to kill his ex-paramour in the Nov. 14 fire at 111-113 S. Second St., but instead killed 3-year-old Darrel Etchison Jr., police said.
Dishong was returned to Blair County Prison without bail.
