Sarah Jane Taylor, 100, Duncansville, formerly of Juniata, died Monday evening at her residence.
She was born in Kladder Station, Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Charles and Cora (Good) McCloskey. She married Clair G. Taylor, and he preceded her in death in January 1981 after sharing 49 years of marriage.
Surviving are two daughters: Cindie Maiocco and husband, Michael, and Betty M. Parish and husband, Burton, all of Duncansville; three sons: Clair G. Jr. and wife, Dolores, of Cottonwood, Ariz., John A. of Palm Springs, Calif., and Robert L. and wife, Carole, of Altoona; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Leamer; and four brothers: Frank, Addie, John and Charles.
Sarah was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and a loyal viewer of QVC.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., the Rev. Elizabeth Hess officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
