Leroy J. Hartz Jr., 75, Altoona, died Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of Leroy J. and Anna M. (Ditch) Hartz. He was twice married, first to Mary J. Gutzwalter, then to Vivian June McCoy, both of whom survive. Also surviving are five children: Faye Marie Hollabaugh, Leanna Hartz, Christine Friedenburger, Robert and James; a stepdaughter, Julia McCoy; 11 grandchildren; and five siblings: Evaline, Duretta, Margie, Robert and Donald. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
