Joyce L. (Spaid) Rodriquez, 81, Altoona, died Saturday evening at Valley View Home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (French) Spaid.
Joyce is survived by a son, William C., and wife, Laura, of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren: Zane, Joshua and Jessica; a niece, Paulette, and husband, Paul Adamczyk, and their family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline McCreery.
Mrs. Rodriquez was a buyer for Gables department store.
She was a member of Member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Society.
Joyce enjoyed reading, shopping and her pets.
Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc., 1204 - 17th Street, Altoona, Pa.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 East Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
