Agnes A. "Aggie" Bricca, 98, a resident of Garvey Manor, formerly of Gallitzin, died Saturday at Altoona Regional. She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Carlo and Zelmira (Bertoccini) Fabbri.
She is survived by her children: Louis, married to Dolores Kowalczyk, of New Windsor, Md.; Linda, married to Leo Benoni, of Ebensburg; grandchildren: Gregory (Stacy) Bricca, Andrea Bricca, Anita (Paul) Lomax, Amy Benoni and Kara (Scott) Anderson; great-grandchildren: William and Emily Bricca, Addison and Trent Lomax and Tyler Anderson; and sisters: Victoria Gjurich and Eleanor Longosky, both of Gallitzin.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, William L., on August 8, 1981; sisters: Theresa Roach, Alice Fabbri, Nellie Tragon and Louise Sprouse; and brothers: Gino and Fedo.
She was a member of the Auxiliary to the Gallitzin American Legion and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held Thursday afternoon.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, with the Reverend Albert Ledoux as celebrant. Committal at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Garvey Manor, 1037 S. Logan Blvd., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 in Aggie's memory.
