Juniata suffers first loss

BETHLEHEM - The Juniata College women's college basketball team suffered its first loss, 84-72, to unbeaten Moravian College Saturday at Johnston Hall.

Jordan Speck led Juniata (4-1) with 21 points, and the Lady Eagles also got double-figure scoring from Kelsey Livoti (12), Kate McDonald (10) and Natalie Hager (10).

Alexis Wright led Moravian (6-0) with 20 points and 19 rebounds, and teammate Katie O'Rourke added 19 points.

Lady Mounties lose

CRESSON - Medaille College led the Mount Aloysius women by 21 points at halftime and cruised to an 89-59 win.

Lindsy Sammarco led the Lady Mounties with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Medaille got 17 points apiece from Alicia Montalvo and Joelle Pollak.

The Penn State Altoona women fell to Pitt-Bradford, 58-45.

Alicia Kimmel paced Pitt-Bradford with a game-high 25 points. Kylie O'Toole was the top scorer for Penn State Altoona with 17 points.
