David L. Brown, 65, Graystone Court, Flamingo Drive, Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday at Altoona Regional.
He was born in Martinsburg, son of Andrew and Lottie (Pressel) Brown. He married Geraldine Mort on July 17, 1970.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years; a sister, Sally (Barnie) Riley in Kansas; three brothers: Donald (Polly) and Harold R. (Norma), both of Martinsburg, and G. Rex (Marelis) of State College; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

David was a 1965 graduate of Central High School and received an associate's degree from Penn State University. He retired from Skills of Central Pennsylvania Inc. as a certified nursing assistant and had previously worked for DeVecchis as a machine operator.
David enjoyed woodworking, traveling, flea markets and sports, especially attending his great-nieces' and great-nephews' sporting events.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will immediately follow, Pastor Peter Helmers officiating.
