Notable: Bellwood-Antis is making its sixth trip to the interdistrict playoffs but its first since going in 2007 for the third time in four years. The Blue Devils are 1-4 in this round of the PIAA tournament and 1-2 in the postseason against teams from District 3. ... Delone is 0-6 in interdistrict playoff action, also reaching the state playoffs for the last time in 2007, when the Squires were in Class AA. ... Bellwood only has thrown 25 passes in the playoffs, instead rushing for more than 300 yards in two of its three playoff games and averaging 313.7 yards on the ground. That's up from 247.4 yards in the regular season. ... Gray is the Blue Devils' top rusher with 1,623 yards. ... Bellwood has intercepted multiple passes in six straight games. ... This is only the fifth game the Squires have played this season against a Class A opponent. Delone has faced two Class AAA teams and one Class AAAA school. ... Delone Catholic runs a Wing-T offense that has produced four rushers with more than 460 yards as well as a 1,000-yard passer in Smith. Guiffreda leads the Squires with 832 yards rushing; he's surpassed 100 yards in four of the last six games after having a high of 60 yards in the first six (he missed the Bermudian Springs game). ... Both teams played one of their respective district's Class AA finalists.
