Domenick Ventre, 84, Altoona, passed away Wednesday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Frank and Rose Ventre. He married Lena G. Iacobaccio in 1950.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years; three daughters: Nancy (Jim) Helsley of Bellwood and Linda (Jeff) Blazier and Amy (Keith) Byers, both of Altoona; a son, Michael Sr. (Cathy) of Altoona; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by nine brothers and a sister.
Domenick retired as a farmer and was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 30, 2012, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will immediately follow, the Rev. Ronald Osinski officiating. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
