Helen I. (Taggart) Hancharick, 80, Altoona, passed from this life Sunday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Worth, daughter of the late Samuel and Grace (Cornelius) Taggart.
Surviving are a son, Alvin Taggart of Charleroi; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hancharick.
There will be no public service. Helen will be laid to rest in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Aaronsburg.
Arrangements are by Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, Millheim.
