A. Christine (Frantz) Brown, 99, passed away Nov. 14, 2012, at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Jersey Shore, Pa., daughter of the late Lewis James and Bertha Edna (Geise) Frantz. She married William Lewis Brown, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Luethel May (Brown) Kormanski and husband, Charles, of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren: Charles Lewis Kormanski, Timothy James Hanner, Theda Loraine Tallman and Kristi Lue Bowers; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Loraine Hanner.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Paul Lincoln Frantz, Helen Elizebeth Fegley, Bruce Allen Frantz and Lee Irvin Frantz.
Christine worked as a department head at Sears & Roebuck in Williamsport for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hollidaysburg.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, the Rev. Jeanne Jacobson officiating. Burial will be held privately in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.
If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Brown to the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, Arthritis Foundation or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hollidaysburg.
