Stephen C. McIntyre, 58, Lewistown, died Thursday at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late William H. "Mac" and Ruth M. (Tate) McIntyre.
Surviving are a sister, Laurie A. Woomer and husband, James Jr., of Altoona; a brother, Jeffrey W. and wife, Barbara, of Thompson, Manitoba, Canada; and a niece, Kristin McIntyre.

Stephen was a 1972 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. He was formerly employed by Bell Telephone Co., Pittsburgh, as an office manager and had also worked at Laskaris Restaurant, Lewistown, and the senior services agency serving Mifflin County. He was an active member of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church, where he served as deacon and had recently received the nomination of elder.
Stephen enjoyed animals, especially his dogs, Buddy and Tanner, gardening and helping others.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, by the Rev. James R. Thomas. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 5, 2012, at Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E. Third St., Lewistown.
Memorials may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
