Charlotte Kaye Garland, 71, Duncansville, died Friday evening at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late Boyd and Elizabeth (Grahm) Jackson. She married Lewis M. Garland on Jan. 11, 1964. He preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 2005.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda K. Feather (Rob) of Roaring Spring; two sons: Lewis M. II (Amber) of Altoona and David C. (Adrian) of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren: Hilary, Cody, Zackery, Aaron, Cheyann, Cassidy and Austin; one great-granddaughter, Delaney; five sisters: Louise Greene of Altoona, Joyce Hinkle of Hollidaysburg, Donna Wiser of Altoona, Jeanne Crawford of Philadelphia, and Judy Perry of Altoona; and a brother, Elwood Jackson of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Jenevieve Parks and Lorraine Briggs.
Charlotte was a member of the South Altoona Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.
She retired as a sales counselor for Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service by Brother Jay Finochio on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
