Charlotte C. Imler, 89, Altoona, died Friday at Presbyterian Village following an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Chester P. and Olive L. (Dollar) Cassidy. She married Lowell E. "Pete" Imler on Feb. 18, 1943, in Altoona.
She is survived by her husband; three sons: Dwight E. of Altoona, Dennis D. and wife, Bernadine, of Lakemont, and Dana Paul and wife, Denise, of Hollidaysburg; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna M. Bailey-Wagner of Altoona; a brother, C. Paul Cassidy of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory V.; and a sister, Eleanor G. Norris.
Charlotte was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Lakemont.
She was a 1941 graduate of Altoona Catholic School.
She had been employed as a cook at the Heidelberg Country Club and at St. John's School cafeteria.
Charlotte enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, pets, traveling and spending time with the family.
She served on the board for community action in Altoona, the board of Amtran bus and Logan Township Zoning Commission.
There will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at St. John's Catholic Church, Lakemont, by Monsignor Michael Becker. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church, Lakemont; or to The Presbyterian Village, Hollidaysburg.
