Marion L. Appleby, 94, Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, died Monday evening at the Village.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Milton Speer and Annie May (Davis) Appleby.
Surviving are three nephews: Dr. Timothy Wolfgang of Midlothian, Va., Mark Wolfgang of Pittsburgh and Thomas Wolfgang of Atlanta, Ga.; and a niece, Marianne Wolfgang of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wolfgang, in 2002.
Ms. Wolfgang was a 1936 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a life member of Third Presbyterian Church, Altoona, where she was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, current member of Faith Circle and a member of the Women's Association. Marion was also a member of the Presbyterian Homes Auxiliary.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, with Pastor Richard L. Ginter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Third Presbyterian Church, 127 Fifth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
