Richard H. Robinson Sr., 89, of Duncansville died early Sunday morning at Altoona Regional, after an extended illness. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Harry and Mary (Kuhn) Robinson.
Richard is survived by wife, Regina M. (Cole); two sons: Richard Jr. of Duncansville and Gary of Greenville, S.C.; two stepsons: Joseph in Colorado and Thomas in Alaska; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Hollidaysburg and a sister, Betty Mountain of Frankstown.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jean (Dorteh) and a brother, Harry Andrew.

Mr. Robinson was a 1941 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was an Army Air Force veteran, serving during WWII in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign. He retired in 1979 as an engineer at the Van Zandt VA Medical Center.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, a 60-year member of Juniata Lodge 282 , F&AM, a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home, 1281 Fourth Ave., Duncansville, where a Masonic service will be held in the evening. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Duncansville, followed by military honors. Interment will be at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the Carmelite Nuns of Loretto in Richard's name.
