Rudolph F. Peters, 88, of Gallitzin died Sunday. He was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Rea) Petrarca. He is survived by his wife, Regina; children: Cathy, Laura, Joan, Mark, Donald, Linda and Sandra; and eight grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Gibbons Funeral Home 301 Church St., Gallitzin. A funeral Mass be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at St. Demetrius Parish of Gallitzin.
