Mary Margaret "Margie" Adams, 90, Cresson, died Wednesday in Charleston, S.C.
She was born in Cresson, daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Marie (Abrams) Phelps.
Surviving are three children: David Scott (Dorothy) of Goose Creek, S.C., Linda Wyland of Cresson and Virginia Lee King (Tony) of Charleston, S.C.; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. "Dewey"; a son-in-law, Gerald F. Wyland; two infant children: Mary and Robert; and a brother, Albert and wife, Laverna.
Margie retired as a librarian at St. Francis College, Loretto, with more than 20 years of service. She loved to play golf, bingo and cards, read and go gambling.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Basilica of St. Michael, Loretto, Monsignor Timothy Swope as celebrant. Committal will be in the church cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
