WILLIAMSBURG -- The Blair County 4-H and FFA Livestock Clubs had their annual banquet Oct. 9 at the Williamsburg Farm Show Building.
Special guests honored were award sponsors and buyers from the 2012 Show and Sale in August.
The officers from each club helping with the program were Haley England, Lauren Kensinger, Brandon Leidy, Jacob Bigelow, Hunter Stultz, Alex Decker and Luke Doyle.

Jenna Moser, a student from Penn State and a 2011 FFA state officer, led the program. She will be attending the National FFA Convention the end of October competing for a national FFA state office. Stan McKee, Penn State Extension district director, also gave a speech.
Also presented was a PowerPoint of the events from the show and sale.

The Clearfield Bank & Trust of Williamsburg sponsored the high point trophies for each club. The awards given by each of the following clubs were:
Little Cow Tails
High Point Award -- Lindsay Knab, senior; Haley England, intermediate; Cynda Hoover, junior; Lily Sollenberger, first-year.

Lamb Chops
High Point Award -- Senior: Paige Pearson, first; Samantha Sessamen, second. Intermediate: Aden McMonagle, first; Yvonne Longenecker, second. Junior: Kara Stultz, first; Marlyna Borman, second. First-year: Savannah Price, first; Taylor Uplinger, second.
Shepherd Contest -- Senior: Paige Pearson, first; Brandon Leidy, second. Intermediate: Yvonne Longenecker, first; Aden McMonagle/Hunter Stultz, tied for second. Junior: Cassandra Michelone, first; Alexi McMonagle, second. First-year: Taylor Uplinger, first; Savannah Price, second.

Ewe Award -- Cassandra Michelone, first; Scott Sessamen, second.
Cooking Contest -- Members were given a pound of lambburger to make a meal in 45 minutes. All were winners, and there were no leftovers.
Scott Sessamen gave an award from the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association for the Good Housekeeping Job at the Lamb Show in August. The recipient of the award this year was Savannah Price.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association also gave a Veterans Helping Veterans Award to Jack Mock for all his support for the youth.
