Theodore Larson Westin Sr., 76, Cresson, died Saturday at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh.
He was born in North Braddock, son of the late Anton and Sarah (Linsenbigler) Westin.
He was the beloved husband of Edna Mae (Stiffler) Westin; loving father of Theodore Jr. and Mary Beth (Baish) Westin, Cresson, and Christine and David Sartori, Pittsburgh; and proud grandfather of Hannah and Sarah Westin and Maria and Anna Sartori. He is also survived by sisters: Constance Nardone, New Castle, and Lillian Cupp, Philadelphia; and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Westin was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rose Mae Westin; and brothers and sisters.
He received a master's degree in music from IUP and touched many lives as Penn Cambria music teacher.
He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Westin served with the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He was an associate broker and broker/appraiser and office manager of Westin Real Estate & Tax Service, Cresson; and also owner of Westin's Windmill Antiques, Cresson.
He was a life member of Cresson Volunteer Fire Department.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, by the Rev. Paul Zomerfeld. A Cresson Firemen's memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today.
