Helen L. Wallace, 48, Altoona, died Friday morning at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Weatherwalk) Stapf.
Surviving are her husband, Henry M. Wallace Sr.; three daughters: Jody M. Chipperfield of Osceola Mills, Becky L. Ropp of Loretto and Jamie A. Smith of Altoona; three sons: Henry M. Jr. of Altoona, Richard D. of Sinking Valley and Michael L. at home; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters: Brenda Neff of Finksburg, Md., and Donna Miller and Thelma Stapf, both of Baltimore, Md.; and two brothers: Arthur Bradley of Hanover and Nelson Stapf of Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by a son, William; a granddaughter, Raelynn; a brother, Richard; and a sister, Melita Ertwine.
Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She loved animals, especially her dogs, and was devoted to her family.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 Fifth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
