Evelyn L. Hilldale, 81, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday morning at Altoona Regional after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Frank and Vesta (Rhoades) Epple. She married Robert Hilldale III, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters: Cynthia L. Aslan and husband, John, of Huntsville, Ala., and Melissa A. Diminick and husband, Scott, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Donald J. Kelley and wife, Diane, of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Angela, Kristopher, Matthew, Nate, Raine, Annie and Jack; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Catherine Bragonier and Rita Dunmire; and a brother, Calvin.
Evelyn was a 1949 graduate of Altoona High School and had been employed with Oral Surgery Associates of Central PA in Hollidaysburg with 36 years of service. She enjoyed her family, shopping and activities with her friends, and she had also enjoyed the time she spent living in Arizona.
All services will be private. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
