Beverly J. Harris, 70, Tyrone, died Thursday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (Cowher) Miller. She married Earl R. Harris on May 2, 1959, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Kathy Banks and husband, John, of Brecksville, Ohio, and Wendy Woodring and husband, Lorin, of Tyrone; two sons: Mack and wife, Marcy, of Tyrone and Tim and wife, Kelly, of Tyrone; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Tom Miller and wife, Amy, of State College.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Myers.
Beverly was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone. She was formerly employed at Chicago Rivet and the Fiesta Diner, Tyrone. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she loved visiting with her children and grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, Father Jozef Kovacik officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
