Robert C. Shumaker, 75, Altoona, died Thursday at Valley View Home. He was born in Altoona, son of Edward and Hazel (Bower) Shumaker. Surviving are his former wife, Edna M. (Knipple) Yeager; five daughters: Debbie Korte, Cindy Tippett, Robin Shomo, Sue Shumaker and Flo Vahey; and four siblings: Barbara Foster, Harry, Harland and Clifford. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela J. Kephart. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by Pastor Towanda Acey. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
