Elizabeth E. Lechner, 89, Golden LivingCenter-Hillview, died Monday at the center.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Nicholas and Emma (DeTemple) Frederick. She married Michael Lechner, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons: Michael and Stephen, both of Altoona; two daughters: Mary Jane Dalby and husband, Thomas, of Altoona and Linda Shaffer and husband, Charles, of Chicago, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers: Richard Frederick of Altoona and Thomas and Ronald Frederick, both in Ohio; and two sisters: Louise Colombo of Altoona and Dolores Dull in Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney M. Dalby; a brother, James; and a sister, Pauline Yealy.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, family and friends.
There will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church by Monsignor Robert Mazur. Committal will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Altoona.
Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
