MOUNT UNION - Luke Weaver scored two touchdowns for Penns Valley, including the game-winning 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, as the Rams defeated Mount Union. Weaver also hauled in a 21-yard touchdown reception from Cameron Tobias to open the scoring.
Mount Union followed up Weaver's touchdown with an 85-yard kickoff return by Darrian Stapleton and later went ahead when Khalil Fortson found Jamal Smith for a 46-yard touchdown pass to give the Trojans the lead at half, 12-7.
The teams traded third-quarter touchdowns, first on a 12-yard score from Penns Valley's Vince Rowles, which was followed by a 16-yard rushing score from Stapleton before Weaver scored the eventual game-winner.
