HARRISBURG -- Former Penn State Athletics Director Tim Curley and retired Penn State Vice President for Finance Gary Schultz were released on unsecured bail today after arraignment on additional charges filed against them in the Jerry Sandusky child-sex abuse scandal.
The two former Penn State leaders were charged Thursday with endangering the welfare of children, obstruction of justice and conspiracy.
Their bail was each set at $50,000 unsecured. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Monday.
Former Penn State President Graham Spanier is also charged in the case. He is accused of perjury, endangering the welfare of children, conspiracy, failure to report child abuse and obstruction of justice. His arraignment is expected Wednesday in Harrisburg before Magisterial District Judge William Wenner.
