Roxie L. Bittner, 57, Claysburg, passed away Wednesday at home.
She was born in Bedford, daughter of John Bittner and Romaine (Ross) Bittner Hrivnak.
Surviving are her mother of Bedford; her father of Somerset; two sisters: Ronda Davis of Claysburg and Bobbie in Delaware; three brothers: Rich and wife, Sharon, of Bushnell, Fla., Shawn and wife, Laurel, of Jacksonville, N.C., and Michael and wife, Tammy, of Berlin; aunts and uncles: Andrea and Bill Allen of Bedford, Bonnie Gardner of Bedford, Ida and Sonny Leman of Somerset, Dorothy Friedline of Sipesville and Alan Bittner of Rockwood; her stepmother, Sandy Bittner; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Hrivnak.
Roxie was a chef at the Altoona Hotel and Park Hills Country Club. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Bedford American Legion and Fort Bedford VFW, and both will hold memorial services. She will be missed by her many friends and loved ones.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, Pastor Paul Johnson officiating.
