For people like me who are on fixed incomes, the new LED bulbs manufacturers are putting in the stores are far too expensive compared to incandescent bulbs.
You only get one LED bulb per package, where you get four incandescent bulbs per package. The LED bulbs break too easily and are not as bright as the incandescent bulbs.
I will never buy the LED bulbs. There are many elderly people that would rather use the incandescent bulbs then the new LED bulbs. The incandescent bulbs put off a far better and brighter light.
My electric company sent me some of the new LED light bulbs free to use, and one only lasted me five minutes because they break too easily.
What are senior citizens to do without the proper lighting to read by?
It should be the decision of the public which light bulbs they want to buy and not the companies that manufacture the light bulbs. Did the companies also forget that the refrigerators also use the incandescent light bulbs too.
