Brent Allen Jones, 35, Altoona, passed away Sunday in Sacramento, Calif.
He was born in New Kensington, son of Allen D. and Janet L. (Hrivnak) Jones.
Surviving are his parents of Altoona; a sister, Terri Orona of Hollidaysburg; three nieces: Morgan Uzmack, Alexis Orona and Abigail Orona, all of Hollidaysburg; a nephew, Peter Orona of Hollidaysburg; his paternal grandmother, June (Koedel) Jones of Tarentum; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Helen Hrivnak of Lower Burrell; two uncles: Michael Jones of Tarentum and Dennis (Mary Ann) Hrivnak of Vandergrift; and an aunt, Susan (Joseph) Kunc of West Deer Township.
Brent had resided in Altoona since 1995 and prior to that had resided in Tarentum and Natrona Heights. He had attended elementary school in Highlands School District and was a 1994 graduate of Freeport High School. He was a corporate sales supervisor in the magazine industry and was of the Methodist faith.
Brent enjoyed music, karaoke and traveling.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Duster Funeral Home Inc., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, the Rev. Harold M. Mele Jr. officiating. There will be a private interment.
