M. Scott Spangler, 50, Denver, Colo., formerly of Duncansville, died in Denver.
He was born in Johnstown, son of Roy and Carol (Varner) Spangler.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Roy and LaRue Spangler; a sister, Denise Cherry and husband, Joe; a brother, Randy and wife, Lisa; and a stepbrother, Tate Miller, all of Duncansville; and nieces and nephews.
He was a 1979 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School.
Scott was a self-employed picture framer and an avid softball player.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
