Ann M. (Hart) Harris, 89, Altoona, died on Saturday at Altoona Regional after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Janie Frances (Moore) Hart. She married Joseph J. Harris Jr. on March 21, 1944, in Philadelphia. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1978.

Surviving are two sons: Dr. J. John Harris III of Lexington, Ky., and Ramon Harris of Arlington Va.; four daughters: Margo (Joseph) Corbin of Harrisburg, Frances (James) Walker of South Chesterfield, Va., Sonya (George) Harris of Southfield, Mich., and Paula (Larry ) Boyd of Westampton N.J.; five grandchildren: Julie, David, Franchelle, Ramona and Larry Jr.; three great-grandchildren: Kandis, DeWayne Jr., and Julian; a brother, Robert Hart of Southfield, Mich.; and a sister, Barbara (William) Crawford of Rochester Hills, Mich.
Ann was a member of Sixteenth Street Methodist Church (Bethel AME).
She had worked at Central Trust, Warnaco (Puritan Sportswear), and Westvaco (US Envelope).
She was a 1941 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
Friends will be received from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A home-going service for Ann will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Sixteenth Street Methodist Church, 1620 16th St., Altoona, with Charles S. Burford presiding.
