On Nov. 6, 79th District voters will have an opportunity to tell the Harrisburg political establishment that business-as usual will no longer be accepted.
We sent Harrisburg that message in the May primaries when voters ousted a career politician accustomed to living off of our dime. Now we need to elect John McGinnis as our new state representative so that he can deliver it to the statehouse in person.
The political elite who earn their living playing with yours are nervously watching us. They dread an intelligent, conscientious man who would eschew the cushy per diems and pensions and lead the fight against crony careerism in Harrisburg.
The alternative is a candidate who is clearly trying to make 79th District voters think that he shares their values. Do we really want another calculating politician representing us in Harrisburg? The establishment does.
If you don't, then vote for John McGinnis.
