Mary Eldreda Donahue, 96, Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Trenton, N.J., daughter of the late Joseph F. and Theresa A. (Brunner) Donahue.
Mary had been a teacher. She then had been employed as a secretary at Bishop Guilfoyle High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and also belonged to the Catholic Golden Age Club and Knights of St. George Auxiliary.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church by Father David Rizzo. Committal will be in St. John's Cemetery.
The family requests that Masses be said for Mary Eldreda.
