Kiwanis club plans food drive Saturday
The Kiwanis Club of Altoona will be collecting non-perishable food items at the Hollidaysburg Halloween parade at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Items in need are canned goods such as soup, vegetables and meats, as well as everyday basics, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, toothpaste, bar bath soap and shampoo. Kiwanis members will collect items along the parade route. Donations will be given to the American Rescue Workers Food Pantry in Hollidaysburg.
