Jack W. Rice, 84, New Enterprise, died Monday at home. He was born in Salemville, son of Orange W. and Mary Rice. Surviving are his wife, Delphine (Mock); two children: Kay Grove of Martinsburg and Rex of New Enterprise; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawn of Richmond, Ind. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Fred and Dick. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Salemville Cemetery by Erick Martin. Arrangements are by S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
