Katie Morris, a Bedford graduate, was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's tennis player of the week for her efforts on the Mount Aloysius squad.

Morris won both her matches in the first round of the conference playoffs and led the Mount to its first playoff appearance in school history.

Altoona graduate Noah Walstrom had a team-high 10 tackles for the Juniata football team in a loss to Muhlenberg Saturday. Walstrom leads the team with 51 tackles this season.

Fellow Altoona graduate Ethan Wilt has 46 tackles, good enough for third on the Eagles. Both Walstrom and Wilt have an interception.

Bellwood-Antis graduate Zach McCaulley is the team's leading rusher with 285 yards and two touchdowns.

Johnny Franco, a Tyrone graduate, had an interception for the IUP football team in a 31-13 victory over Mercyhurst Saturday.

Chris Brown, a Bishop Guilfoyle graduate, has played in all eight of the Crimson Hawks' games and has 19 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Hollidaysburg graduate Mike Macionsky shot a three-day total of 229 to tie for eighth place at the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference golf championship.

Macionsky shot rounds of 80, 71 and 78 for UPJ.

Reagyn Taylor, a Huntingdon native, won an event and finished second in another for the Juniata swimming team in a victory over Mansfield.

Taylor won the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:21:19 and finished second in the 100-meter backstroke.

Dylan Mountain, an Altoona graduate, earned All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference cross country honors with an 11th place finish at the PSAC Championships.

Mountain ran the 8K course in 26:08.9 for the Lock Haven squad.

Fellow Altoona graduate Tyler Hileman finished 23rd for Lock Haven.

Altoona graduate Sasha Peterman finished 40th at the WVIAC cross country championships for the UPJ women's cross country championships with a time of 25:57, and Philipsburg-Osceola graduate Marissa Albert finished 61st in the 100-person field with a time of 27:32 for UPJ.

Emily Waksmunski, a Bishop Carroll graduate, finished 19th in a field of 394 runners for the Bucknell cross country team at the Gettysburg Invitational with a time of 23:18.

Altoona graduate Derek Mathews scored three goals for the West Chester ice hockey team in a victory over New Jersey Technical Institute. West Chester is 6-0.
