Altoona's Dominic Stroh took home top honors on Monday while competing at the Blair/Huntingdon County Day cross country meet held at Logan Elementary.
Stroh won the race in 17:16. Exactly 12 other Altoona boy runners finished in the top 20 in the event.
Williamsburg's Byrce England took second place with a time of 17:18. Hollidaysburg's Eric Jennings took 7th place in 18:11.27. Tyrone's Rhett Everhart took 15th at 18:55, while Bellwood-Antis' Samuel Mills placed 20th in 19:12.
In the girls race, Tyrone's Jordon Wiser placed first overall with a time of 20:46.
Altoona's Hayley Weaver finished second in 21:05. Hollidaysburg's Emily Ansley came in third place with a time of 21:09.
Kristina Slobodnick came in seventh for Bishop Guilfoyle with a time of 22:09. Martingsburg's Alyssa Clark placed 15th in 23:26. Juniata Valley's Brooke Emery took 17th place with a time of 24:07, while Bellwood-Antis' April Taylor placed 19th in 24:10.
